The new VirtualDoc-EX enhanced features include dual 22" monitors, an expanded work surface, and a lockable storage drawer.

Clinical personnel will now be able to see information such as patient records while concurrently viewing real-time, high-definition medical imagery in order to help shorten diagnosis time and improve productivity.

As with the standard, single-monitor VirtualDoc platform, wireless connectivity (802.11x wifi) and the ability to run unplugged on battery power for up to 4-hours is standard equipment on the VirtualDoc-EX.

Options include an integrated PC, keyboard, & mouse, AMD Global Telemedicine peripherals, and more.

Like all ExStream products, the VirtualDoc and VirtualDoc-EX are standards-based and designed to be deployed with LifeSize, Polycom or Tandberg video CODECSs allowing customers to stay with their familiar video conferencing strategy.

Customers can now choose between the traditional, compact, single-monitor VirtualDoc or the new, enhanced features of the VirtualDoc-EX for their telemedicine video conferencing needs.
